As part of her doctoral studies at the Artistic Doctoral School of the University of Music and Performing Arts Graz, Jessica will participate in this year's edition of the artistic research festival ARTikulationen.

Artistic Research is a new and highly innovative field for gaining knowledge, which combines artistic accomplishment with academic practice. For this, complex artistic experiments created to answer musical questions are central, as well as other questions that are systematically engaged in a dialogue with reflection, analysis and other academic methods. The artistic research festival ARTikulationen has a duration of 2,5 days and is organized by the Artistic Doctoral School (KWDS) of the University of Music and Performing Arts Graz since 2016. The special essence of artistic research – audible results achieved through a methodological founded dynamic between art and science – becomes perceptible and comprehensible for the audience in this pioneer-format.
